Now Apply Online Police Clearance Report
Nepal Police had allowed the beneficiaries to print Police Clearance Report on their own, On the 16th of Falgun 2077, after applying for it online. The applicant can apply for the Police Clearance Report from the Online Police Clearance Registration System. The applicant can proceed for a color-print of the report on A4 size paper also. After that report could be submitted directly to the Department of Consular Services, Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the verification.
About Police Report Verification
Police report verification is the official document that conforms the innocence of an individual which is used for the foreign procedures. It clearly states that the person applying for it no criminal records.
Few year ago, Police clearance report verification was done manually by visiting the related offices. But, now police report verification can be taken online since September 2021.
How to apply for Online Police Clearance Report?
· Go to the website of Nepal Police - http://nepalpolice.gov.np
- On the ‘Need Public Services’ option, click on the “ Apply Online” option under Police Clearance Report” on the right corner of the homepage
Or, directly go through http://opcr.nepalpolice.gov.np to login
Now, click on “Register” if you are the user for the first time

Enter your details and captcha and click on “Register” and
you’ll get a mail for the temporary password
- Then,
log in to website that through the provided mail and change the password ,
then open the below dialogue box
- Now,
fill up the required information to apply and submit required documents
wherever it mentioned
- Check
your all details once, enter the captcha and click on the “Submit” button. After that,
go to Online Police Clearance Registration System – Nepal Police to check
for the
status of
the application.
